East Dene

Built in 1824, East Dene is a grade II listed Tudor-Gothic mansion.

Built from rough-dressed stone, the house is south facing with large floor to ceiling bay windows, many with stained glass, that look down over the rolling lawn to the sea. There is a conservatory at the southeast corner, which faces a large cleared area which extends up to woodland. If you follow the lawns down past the old swimming pool to the bottom field there is a footpath that leads you to the beach at Monks Bay. Inside the property there are a host of original Victorian features which provide multiple backdrops to shoot. From original floorboards, carved and elaborately tiled fireplaces, wood-panelled walls, stained glass, large bay windows and beautifully painted ceilings.

Situated in the beautiful area of Ventnor, Isle of Wight.
